Next to the earlier released Pecundabox, the all new smart payment controller, Ximedes adds an enhanced 7” touch screen version to its family of multibank reloaders. The 7” touch screen provides a graphical user interface for reloading money to a card. Besides the reloading function the touch screen provides information like card balance and payment transactions history.
The touch screen reloader will be introduced in Q2 of 2020 at the European Patent Offices in The Hague, Vienna, Berlin and Munich.
The Pecunda touch screen reloader is based on state-of-the-art technology. Heart of the reloader is the Raspberry PI based Pecundabox, running Node JS, an asynchronous event-driver Javascript runtime environment. The Electron framework provides the basics for the web based touch screen applications. \
