Barcode Tickets

Issue Single Ride Tickets, Day Tickets, D-Ticket subscriptions or any other ticket with one call to our platform. Barcodes use industry-standard formats such as VDV-KA or UIC-918. Ximedes’ Account-Based Ticketing platform generates barcodes while applying all the methods that make them secure, without requiring you to have knowledge about cryptography or IT security. The API-based setup makes it possible to sell your tickets in multiple Apps, on the web, or at any other place.

Chip Cards

Chip Cars are still a viable way to travel with public transport for subscription holders in general and school children that do not yet own a phone specifically. Thanks to our connection to chip card producers such as Identa, Ximedes’ ABT can generate batches of thousands of Chip Cards. For the odd card, you can connect our system to a chip card printer.

Payment Cards

In many cities around the globe, passengers don’t purchase public transport explicitly anymore. Instead they use their payment card (or phone) to tap in and out from a vehicle. The fare is calculated in the background and deducted from the card. Ximedes ABT is the perfect back office system to handle payment card-based traveling, especially when combined with our own validators and the payment system of our sister company Vayapay.

Ximedes ABT natively supports VDV Sales Clearing Reports as well as the DTV Sales Report.If you also use Ximedes’ Automated Fare Collection solution, we can also report on the number of tickets used. 

In the Business Intelligence suite, all information that we gather about the sales and use of barcodes is presented in comprehensive fashion, but allows you to drill down to the tiniest detail.
 

Fraud Protection & Secure Transactions
