Ximedes has been growing rapidly. With about a hundred employees and offices in the Netherlands, Serbia, and Germany, we have been consistently successful in delivering high-quality software solutions to banks, payment service providers and public transport companies. We are increasingly working internationally and are now working for major new clients in the Nordics and Germany.
While we are proud of our achievements, we are also careful that our growth does not violate the core principles on which this company was founded. We belief client satisfaction, achieved by delivering secure, performant software, designed and developed by enthusiastic professionals, is key to our success, now and in the future.
To support our continuing growth, we plan to expand our service offering with several products targeting our core markets. In 2020, we developed TapCheck, a back-office solution for barcode travel, which we will launch in Germany in 2021. In the fintech domain we will continue to invest in Pecunda (our solution for facility payments), and in 2021 offer a European solution for automated onboarding of merchants for Payment Service Providers.
To provide the capital for these investments we searched for a new partner and found one in Cape Investment Partners - an entrepreneurial investment platform based in Amsterdam that supports ambitious companies and management teams to realize growth initiatives in a sustainable and balanced manner. Together we drafted a value creation plan to new success for the coming years. Now, I am proud to announce that this transaction is successfully completed. We are looking forward to meeting the market anew and offer our excellent services in software development and critical transactions.
