Guiding the Driver
When a driver enters a vehicle, they sign up on the board computer. Then a choice can be made which line to drive, and the specific trip that leaves at a certain time. Having done that, the board computer counts down the remaining time to the start of the trip.
Route Visualisation
As the vehicle drives, it shows a clear map of the route, helping the driver to take the right way, even if the route was shortened, or a deviation is in place.

External Displays
As the driver signs on to a specific trip, the Board Computer sends the appropriate commands to the external display, so that it shows the correct destination to your passengers.
This works seamlessly with External Displays that comply with the ITxPT standard, such as the ones from Luminator.
Passenger Display
If the driver signs on to a trip, the display inside of the vehicles starts showing the current stop, as well as the next stops on the route. We also support showing advertisements and other information on these screens. Again an ITxPT compliant device or software can be integrated without any additional work.

Vehicle Data Collection
A Board Computer relies on data from the vehicle to function: a position - even when GPS coverage temporarily fails, door signals and maps. Most of this information can be acquired using our Fleet Management Gateway, but in many cases our composable systems can work with information that is already gathered.
ITxPT Compatibility
Any device that complies with the ITxPT standard can be seamlessly integrated with Ximedes' systems. This standardized approach ensures flexibility and future-proof installations across diverse vehicle types.
ITCS - Real-time response to deviations and detours
Our intelligent transportation control system (ITCS) delivers dynamic route management and real-time updates to ensure optimal fleet operation even during unexpected changes.
Real-Time Fleet Monitoring
Our Board Computers work perfectly together with Ximedes’ ITCS system. All vehicles share location information with ITCS, which uses it to plot the vehicles on a live map of the region, augmenting it with punctuality information.
Adaptive Route Management
If a route is temporarily shortened, or if a deviation is put in place, ITCS shares this with the vehicles, which can promptly inform the drivers of the new situation, and even plot the new route on the drivers’s map.
